DENIM FOR DAYS

So with Melbourne's weather heating up like there is no tomorrow,we're feeling like the only appropriate thing to wear is denim. The best thing about denim is that it isn't just reserved to your bottom-half any longer; nor is it only in your favuourite colour blue. You can now dress in it head-to-toe, and print clash! Woo hoo

Another great thing about denim is that you dont have to spend $1,000,000 on it! A cheap pair of denim cut-off shorts or 'vintage' jacket (al-la-op-shop) will do the trick just fine!

uni/studies: bachelor of Business/Marketing 

fashion experience: we've both been in retail for over 6 years in various brands such as Bariano, Zu shoes, Sass & Bide and Morrison. We've also been heavily involved in countless styling sessions with VIP clientele at Sass & Bide, Morrison and Jolie & Deen.

A HIT OF COLOUR

This week Bec and I escaped for a couple of days to our beach house in the Mornington Peninsula, and we decided what a great photoshoot opp...what do you think?

We both had the amazing opportunity to help out at a Dion Lee pop-up store a little while back run by Designer Sales Australia and scored some amazing pieces for great prices!

This awesome dress was reduced to $400 from its original price of $900! Woweee.

What I love about this dress is (not only how figure-hugging it is), but the print and design of it! The colours are so beautiful, it reminds me of a beautiful summers day by the beach or being in a field  full of flowers! Amazing.

Now we love our collection of rings from Jolie & Deen (not just saying that because we work there..haha.) They come in both gold & silver and we both have a set of each; they're all so fine and quirky, you can wear just one...or if you're like us, pilllee them up!!


So then I slipped out of the dress into Bec's Dion Lee aqua skirt and my white Maxim silk t-shirt. Love this outfit so much..so cool, so comfortable, so chick!

Oh and did I forget to mention the shoes? So in love with these babies, we've barely taken them off since we snapped them up at the Dion Lee pop-up store. No, these aren't Dion's design..but they were there for $20!! (So who cares why?) 
The good news is, they're Wittner! And they have the same style in different colours. Get on it people! We love love
